Job Description

Prominent law firm in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their growing office. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to become an integral part of a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of experience with civil litigation and eDiscovery and proficiency with second generation eDiscovery Platforms (e.g. Relativity).

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting attorneys with all aspects of litigation, including case management, discovery, trial preparation, and supporting attorneys during trials.
  • Conducting legal research and gathering relevant case information.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Coordinating and managing document production and organization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of civil litigation defense experience, preferably in a mid-size or large firm environment
  • 4+ years of experience with second generation E-Discovery platforms such as Relativity or DISCO
  • Paralegal Certificate or BPC 6450 compliant Declaration required
  • Experience supporting attorneys during trial (manning the war room, running exhibits, etc.)
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
